WHAT YOU DO

• Architectural Leadership: You design and execute high-stakes data projects with building resilient, enterprise-grade big data platforms from the ground up.

• Technical Subject Matter Expertise: As an expert, you engineer bespoke solutions tailored to complex client needs, providing end-to-end technical leadership across the entire project lifecycle.

• AI Data Foundations: You don’t just build pipelines; you architect the high-fidelity data backbone that powers the next generation of Agentic AI and Predictive Business Intelligence.

• Infrastructure Mastery: You are the definitive authority on Cloud Data Warehousing and Data Lakehouse architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and peak performance.

WHO YOU ARE

• Proven Track Record: 7+ years of dedicated Data Engineering experience, demonstrating mastery over complex database systems and high-velocity, high-volume data environments.

• Deep Architectural Insight: You possess a profound understanding of data modeling and cloud warehouse design. You comfortably navigate the spectrum from Traditional Analytical Warehouses to Modern Transactional AI Warehouses.

• Deep Knowledge on Enterprise Data Landscape - Further, you possess a comprehensive understanding of Data Value Chain, looking beyond the data lake to understand upstream source systems and downstream business applications.

• Cloud Native: Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a significant advantage (specifically BigQuery).

• Consulting Mindset: Ability to translate high-level business requirements into robust technical specifications.

• Enterprise Integration: Experience navigating SAP environments (e.g., SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA) or integrating SAP data into modern cloud stacks

• Professional-level written and spoken English is mandatory. C1-Proficiency in German is highly preferred to spearhead local client engagements and lead on-site workshops.

NICE TO HAVE

• GenAI Ecosystem: Familiarity with the Generative AI landscape, including Vector Databases, RAG architectures, Vertex AI or similar

• Strategic Communication: You are an elite communicator, capable of distilling intricate technical architectures into clear, persuasive narratives

• MLOps & LLMops: Practical experience implementing and industrializing LLM or ML pipelines.

• Software Engineering: A solid background in standard software engineering principles.

• You’ve moved beyond just experimenting with AI. We’re looking for someone who has intentionally woven AI into their development or analysis workflow.
