WHAT YOU DO:

  • You migrate large system landscapes from on-premise to the cloud and set the course for stable and secure operations

  • You understand ITSM in large organisations and are familiar with the differences between change and incident. Working with one of the typical applications such as Service Now or Jira is your daily business

  • You have basic network knowledge, including an understanding of TCP/IP and general protocols such as DNS and DHCP, firmly anchored in your skillset through your professional experience

  • You have strong practical experience with at least one scripting language such as Python or PowerShell

  • Security first: With your extensive experience of working in an enterprise IT environment, including familiarity with the relevant change and security procedures, your team can rely on you

  • At least three years of experience in the administration of Windows or Linux characterise you

  • You keep a cool head even in critical situations and support us professionally in troubleshooting



    You also have these differentiated skills:

    At least 3 years of practical experience in one or more of the following areas:

    Windows:

    • Administration and configuration of the Windows Server operating system

    • Enterprise administration of Windows with SCCM, WDS, WSUS or similar tools

    • Basic licensing of Microsoft solutions

    or

    Linux:

    • Administration and configuration of at least one Enterprise Linux distribution such as RedHat or SUSE

    • Administration of Enterprise Linux with Ansible, RedHat Satellite or comparable tools


    At least three years of experience in ONE of the following specialisation areas

    Virtualisation:

    • Administration and configuration of one or more virtualisation platforms such as VMware, HyperV or comparable

    • Understanding of virtual machine formats such as ovf or vmx

    • Enterprise virtualisation tools for backup and recovery, monitoring, etc

    or

    Database administration:

    • Administration and configuration of enterprise database products such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle DB2

    • Database tools for backup and restore, monitoring, etc

    or

    Storage administration:

    • Administration and configuration of storage solutions such as Windows DFS, NetApp OnTap, Nutanix or similar

    • Good knowledge of the underlying concepts such as RAIDs and protocols such as NFS or SMB

    or

    Corporate governance and regulatory compliance:

    • Integration of enterprise IT solutions into regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, BAIT

    • Documentation of the required specifications and coordination with the relevant departments


WHO YOU ARE:

  • With your excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers as well as with your team colleagues, you enrich our team

  • Self-organisation and competent management of sub-projects is a matter of course for you

  • Cloud experience is an advantage, but not a must - we have an optimal training programme to make you fit for the cloud

  • Your organised working style includes the ability to create and maintain technical documentation and manuals

  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
